My SCX10 project: "Desert Fox" AKA "Crawchie" by my fiancee
The only thing missing is the SCX10 chassis!!!) hehehe it's still not available in our LHS. Im thinking of using smaller tires on this and make it as scale as possible. I hope ill be able to build a scale looking kit without cutting the fenders!! I'll post some more when it is finished. i might forego adding the roof rack... i like the netting better I also need to research on what to paint the underside of the body to make body paint scratches realistic.

SCX10 Desert Fox AKA "Crawchie"
Here's the finished kit im very much satisfied with the performance! especially my Tekin FXR combo. Ty for the suggestions on how to paint the scratch effect. My problem now is the paint on my bead-locks rings (? i dont know what u call it) chipped off!!!

More to come when I get her dirty. It's my first crawler build so not perfect. Maybe the next one I'll get a body that fits better.
Dude, your SCX10 is exactly like mine. I don't know how to add pics and i wish i knew so i can show u mine. The body is from Fast Lane Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Mine sits exactly as urs. If u send me ur email i will send u some pics of mine.

Default SCX10 with Trailer hitch

Here is mine - Many thanks to Dave Jones at Bodywerx here in Ottawa for the paint and dialing in of truck. I shall be hauling a way sick fast (5 cell lipo - so be able to reverse) brushless boat down to the lake with this baby. I am more into Fast Electric boats than trucks but this outfit is really sweet to show them off! Check the Video below too.

Here's my AX10 ex-comp rig that's been converted to a SCX10

It's running an AXial B-17 body that I originally painted for my WK and redrilled for this truck, an E-Revo reverse wind motor (which will be swapped for the E-Maxx/Revo normal rotation motor when I can get that pulled from the LCC and put the Trinity Monster Maxx 21t in that), and a Deans plug for the ESC.

Mine (well Dads, but I'll be using it more, LOL) Box stock with a Novak Rooster ESC and 55T motor, a Venom 1800 battery (from my Truggy starter box), Betty body, and a lowly Futaba S3305 servo until I decide on a good one.

This is NOT the body I'm going to end up with - it was just something quick & cheap to get me going (obviously a $9 New Bright toy after minor surgery).

And DO NOT install the wheel rings like this - I was told by someone they could be mounted this way, no problem. Of course, I assembled the tires & wheels before anything else - proving once again, some advice is worth exactly what you pay for.

Some new pics. Trimmed body more and moved it up one hole. Shock collars all the way at top and upper mounts towards tranny, no limiters, bone stock truck. I think it flexes pretty damn good. And yes, I drove it into those positions.
