| steering servo from the front axle
I did was re-locate the steering servo from the front axle to the chassis with a couple home made brackets that tie into the stock frame cross members. I was just able to shoe horn it in underneath the battery tray out front and get very minimal bump steer. It took a few tries to get the placement right, but it seems to be working

I got the first inner fender well mocked-up using the tops off some blank CD cases. Now, I'll trim it up to fit tightly inside the body and spray them all flat black when I'm finished.

Got the first one roughed out so the body fits over it. I'm still going to have to trim a little more off the backside by the door, so it's not visible from the outside.

Perhaps you could just cut a slot in the crease of the fender and bend the offending piece back under the body and out of sight. It would at least help protect the inside of the truck better than the hole left by an over-trimmed fender.

The spare tires, and fans make this thing look badass. I think it needs a fast brushless motor. It is just asking to be jumped. Cool build Brad. |

damn brad, that's one sweet build up. i've always love the pre-runner look especially when you mix in a little rock crawler influence. that would make a cool limited edition model... |

I like the use of the short standoff between the drag ink and tie rod end to ward off the bump steer. I see that your 1-2-3 blocks made the move with you |

Bender very nice work. I would add some rubber mud flaps to the back sides of the wheel wells. That would add to the look plus cover the space possibly where the wheel well comes up a bit short in the rear. Tire inner tube rubber works real good for mud flaps. Jason |

Got the rear inner fender wells mounted up. Had to cut them to go around the rear body mounts, and shim them out from the frame so the spare tires would fit between them. It's a tight fit, but should work fine.
