I heard somewhere that axial is going to be putting out mounts for leafsprings.....? Other wise you'll have to modify existing mounts or make your own.

I don't see why it would be that hard. Seems to me that all you would need to do is cut a spacer for the c-channel frame that will help support the shackles. The axle even has holes on top that would seem to line up with using leaf springs. If I was more adventurous or skilled for that matter, I would give it a try. I still have to paint my body and go break something before I worry about modifying my SCX.

well the holes on top of the axels are father spaced then the chasis so the leafs would be at an anglepointing inwards to the from so the only way i see doing it would be to widen the frame even with the holes and run your shocks inside of the frame . wich i now that i think about it i think i just solved my drop bed issue on my tundra! haha yes! good luck if you attempt it i wanna see pics!

I bet someone (not my three left thumbs) dexterous enough in making small parts could make some brackets that would mount to the holes on the top of the axle. The bracket could provide a flat surface for the leaf and a mounting point for the shock. Then you could shave all of the other attachment points and have a really clean looking axle. Man!!! I thought I was saving for the Losi 1/10. Now I have to get another SCX so I can make a true scaler......

Who ever does make them, just make sure I get some kind of backhanded across the face like the red-headed step-child credit for coming up with the idea
