Default scx10 to LR3 - Shorting links

Excuse my english ...
Hi, I'veen trying to shorten the wheel base of an scx-10 from 29 cm to 26,5 cm to fit a LR3 newbright body.
I've done new links shorters, upper an lower (1,25 cm each) and joined again in the car and the wheel base did not change as much as I thought
Does anyone have the exact length of the upper and lower links?
Do I have to make new holes in the chassis to fix in a new place?
If you have pictures better to understand ...
Thanks,
pipo

Since the links are triangulated you lose some of the effect of shortening your links. You will probably need to go to a 4-link to keep from binding the 3 link when shortening the links.

what wheelbase is the D3 body? if it is 11'' then you need 85mm lower suspension arms according to Axial. (as thats whats going on my D90 build)

I just shortened the rear links to 70mm on my scx10.... seems to work just fine. I did loose some articulation, but since you won't get proper tire tuck on a LR3, it works out just fine. You'll also have to hack off a bit of the upper tri-link piece, can't tell you how much, just trial and error it.
Had mine out on the rocks yesterday and you'll love it when you get it done!
