I didn't even know that Proline was going to do the Flatirons in M2. They should ditch that and just do everything in the magical G8

As far as I know the SCX10 comes with M2 Flatirons. They actually dont feel that bad though

Ok pics!!


Masked off the interior for silver paint. Also printed out a Nor-Cal star for the paint scheme.


Painted the start with a brush to try a different effect. Came out ok. Much nicer than Harley's paintwork.



While the paint was drying I lowered the rear battery plate by removing the lower plastic piece that keeps the pack from sliding. With the low rear section of the CGR body the battery would have interfered.





With the black dry, I painted the inside of the body white, then removed the last part of the star for some keylime green. After that I cut the outside masking where I wanted it to be flat black, and left the masking for the silver to show through (backed the white with silver inside the body and removed the interior masking for the silver).

Talk about well worth the wait. Kinda gave me an idea for the stock scaler body my buddy wants me to shoot paint for. SCALE LIFE! Very nice.
