Electronics are in. I decided to power the winch off the BEC. So I tapped into the positive and negative on the RX wire off the BEC and it works perfectly. The electronics box made things really easy. All the excess wire is hidden in the box

nice build so far! ive been thinking about getting one of these from TCS, is it worth it, does it come with a motor? or does it not have any electronics at all?

so what are you using to control the winch? the 3rd channel? how did you set that up? I've got a few questions about using the 3rd channel on my radio...need a degree to read the manual on my KO Propo radio....

Yes it is worth it. For the price of the kit you get a complete scaler thats going to perform and bolt right together. You cant beat that TCS is also a great place to deal with. No electronics are included.

Yeah I am using the 3rd channel on my Futaba 4PK. Does your KO have a 3 position 3rd channel? In order to run the winch you need the 3P switch and not a 2P switch.

Ok here is the first flex shot. No rubbing when turned driver... Passenger is another story

Going to trim the Pro-Line bumper slightly, also going to push it back to get rid of the gap between the body. I havent even driven this rig yet and I am already going to take a hack saw to the frame. Not sure why I always do that... I just cant live with that slight gap

And of course the scale air freshener.

Brandon, it looks great. Just wondering if you think it would be possible to fit the FXR with the wiring in the receiver tray? I know it fits without the wiring and using a micro spektrum receiver.

OK!!! You guys are driving me nuts with all these awesome builds. I am SOOOO torn on what should be my first rig, and you are not helping at all. First, I wanted to get the AX10 kit, cause I love kits. Then I wanted to get a Losi MRC, cause I could tweak and upgrade for the same price as the AX10 stock. Then I saw the new un-released Losi Comp Crawler. That is one hawt truck. Now I see this outstanding scaler and my head is about to explode. Has anyone figured out how to get $400 to multiply so I can get all 4?!?

What you don't like where Brandon mounted the FXR directly on the tire?

Sexy?

Great looking build...but is there a point to an air freshener in an open cage?

As a representative of Axial I can not say I approve or disapprove of any ESC mounting spot other than what is recommended in the directions...

But otherwise... I like it. Plenty of airflow.

Love the flex shot!
For anybody planning on using a TQ3 reciever it won't fit in the box axial provides.
I need to upgrade my radio bad!

Looking good, love Harley's idea with the air freshener. Sorry to hear about rubbing your passenger. I don't even want to know. :-P
