Default Section525's SCX10

I think I ordered the SCX10 sometime last October :-P and it finally showed up a couple weeks ago. I wanted to get my build thread underway before I get left in the dust. There sure are a lot of cool scale trucks showing up already.

This is my 2nd crawler (the AX10 was my first).

Anyway, I already bought the Novak Rooster Crawler combo and a Hitec 645MG steering servo. I'm hoping to get them installed this weekend. I'll probably rob my 2nd Stampede for the radio and receiver (again).

As for the body.... its going to be a scale version of a company truck. Should be pretty cool.

So here is where I am at:

Yes, its a stock SCX10!

...and with the AX10:

Everyone seems really excited with this kit, and I can see why. Great company, great gear, and great layout. Good luck with your build, and congrats on a good start!!!

That's the problem with working for a living and having two different residences. So now I am back together with everything I forgot when I left for work. Soooo, hopefully this weekend I can install come parts.

Okay, I was supposed to be out here in the garage cleaning it up, but I got distracted working on this new truck.

So here is where I am now.

The Novak Crawler combo is in along with the Hitec HS-645MG.

I also rough drafted my steering setup. It seems to be working so-far-so-good. Now I just have to figure out where/how everything else will be mounted.

Where I am so far

Hopefully I'll get some more time to work on this over the next week or so.

just a thought...
If you shave the front&rear axles, then you wouldnt hit the servo when the axle flexes and twists.
Thats what I did and plus it looks more scale.
p.s.
nice start love the steering link
looks good
