I've seen some pictures posted of the HPI Rubicon body on the SCX-10, and it appears to be roughly an inch too long in wheelbase. Can this be rectified simply by adding longer lower linkages (such as the bent ones that Axial sells?) or will it require further modification? Thanks, -Matt

Uppers and lowers. If you add to front and rear equally you may get away without having do lengthen the drive shafts. The Axial bent links should get you pretty close but you'll probably have to come up with something custom for the uppers.

I read somewhere here where Axial listed the part #'s for the upper and lower links to make it longer... I think roughly an inch. Rodney, I've seen those pics, very helpful. I much prefer the look of the SCX chassis and 1.9's to my AX-10 with 2.2's... -Matt

Axial posted this in another post here: I think you would only gain 1/2"? But if you could do this to the front and rear... you would be OK, I think. You can't add too much to the front without running into clearance issues with the servo. But you can add quite a bit to the back. We used the following parts front and rear to extend the wheelbase to 12" (305mm). AX30518 Threaded Aluminum Pipe 6x98mm - Grey for the lower links. AXA1418 6x6mm Spacer - Grey for the upper link. We also offer the grey links, posts, and spacers in different lengths so you can fine tune the length to exactly what you need. All the part info is below: http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/grey_...s_spacers.html -Matt
