| Diff grease
How much grease should be used in the diffs?? I put a full coating on ring gear when I put it together, spun it by hand a few times and it got chopy feeling. It's like I can feel the teeth on the gears when I turn it over. I went as far as taking it back apart to make sure the c clip hadn't fallen off pinyon gear. Thanks

Make sure that the pinion is seated all the way down. I read where some people had a little bit of tightness in their gears until they made sure it was seated. When I built mine, before I put the other half of the axle on, I pushed as hard as I could on the pinion shaft and it shifted further in by a fraction of an inch. My gears are pretty damn smooth.

^^ DBR most likely is correct its a common issue on the ax10 axles, ya gotta push hard to have the bearing seat all the way or you get that rough feeling in the mesh...have a cookie...peace..james
