Default SCX10 stock tires not seating properly in beadlocks?

Anyone notice the stock tires(flat irons) that came with the scx10 not seating properly in the beadlocks? Mine has a lot of excess rubber where its suppose to seat into the groove in the beadlock wheels. It wouldn't fit in so I had to trim a lot of the flashing off.

Yeah I had to spend some time with the body scissors cleaning up the tires to get them to mount.

i didn't have a problem at all, it was actually one of the the most easy tires i ever had to mount up. just trim it a little. i didn't have any extra flashing on mine. aloha

mine had a significant amount of extra flashing on 'em and they went together really easy. Not a single problem, some of the easiest beadlocks I've ever put together, no trimming.

The first time i put mine together they didnt seat very well and wobbled. Took them back apart to paint rock rings and now the wobble is gone. Maybe they just needed wore in first....?
