Default How loud are your axle gears?

Finished putting together my SCX axles and noticed that when I spun the tires the gears were a bit loud. I have the bearings seated corectly as I know from my AX10 that you need to put some good force to seat them in the axle housing, so the mesh should be correct. I've also got plenty of grease on the gears. Is this something normal?

mine seemed loud at first, but I think some spin time has worn them in. Not as loud now after a couple of hours of run time.

The same with mine at first. After some run time I took it apart and put some of my motorcycle chain lube to waterproof them and no more noise. I did the same for servo gears and tranny. I've used vaseline before too for waterproofing and noise reduction and it works but does'nt last as long as some good chain lube.
