Default Lipo packs run time?

Hey guys, what's the average run time on a 4000mah pack? I ran mine over 2hrs and it still has some juice. I'm wondering if the esc is drawing enough power? I'm pretty new to electrics so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I dont know if this helps or not, but I have 3600 nimh packs and get about 1 1/2 hours out of each one. If im not mistaken lipo's are supposed to last longer than nimh. So if you are running for 2 hours and still have juice left, I'd say thats about right.

Your right on track with that pack. A lot will depend on what motor your running. A 3S 1100 pack will run a 55T thru a 45T for about 30 minutes non stop. Thats a pretty good average. I run my SC-X10 on a TCS BM9 out runner and I'm thinking a few hours should be easy on a 2S 3250.

Thanks for the input guys. I was thinking the same for the lipo but the only experience I have with electric are my monster trucks and they suck up the battery pretty fast. The scx is alot slower so I guess that's about right. I'm running a Novak 55 and it does'nt even get hot that's why I was thinking that it was'nt drawing enough off the battery. What do you guys think about this motor? From the video it moves pretty fast and has good low speed control.

Im getting about 2.5 hrs on a 3S 2200mah lipo going through a 65t lathe with 15/87 gearing. Driving is a good mix of crawling and full throttle running.
