Default Stock Driveshafts okay?

Do the stock driveshafts hold up okay on the SCX10, or do they need to be upgraded. I have MIP's in my AX-10.

They will hold up to some bashing but if you want them to last then you will want to upgrade. I suggest going with some CVD's.

Okay, good to know. I tried the rings on my AX-10, and they didn't seem much different than without them.

My bad I thought you were talking shafts in the axles. The stock plastic shafts from the tranny will work great. There are some better ones out there but you can also do some mods to make the plastics better and last longer. I will see if I can find the thread with the mod. If you want to run with a dig than you can get the better shafts then. But with a scaler you probably won't need a dig anytime soon.

Oh... No problem. I have a set of CVD's leftover from my AX-10 so I will be replacing those.
