Differences between the SCX10 kit and rtr?

Can anyone tell me if besides the radio gear, lights and body are there any differences in the rolling chassis itself? I know that when you buy a kit you get better parts. Is this the case here?

From what I've seen in the pics the RTR has plastic steering linkages vs. the aluminum ones from the kit.

Yes. The links are plastic on the RTR but other than that it's the same.

Your going to replace the RTR electronics so why waste your money.

The RTR has a cool body but you can buy your own if that is what you want.

Thanks guys, I am going to get the kit. I only wanted the rtr because it had the new bumper and sliders but I can just get that seperate. I already have electronics.

just go with the kit, i finished building in a couple hours, the instructions are very straight forward-this was one of the easiest kit builds i had. whichever route you take you wont regret the SCX10,,,GL
