It looks great, though I would tend to agree that the Satin Black would look a bit closer to the color of the 1:1...unless it looks blacker in real life than the pics.

Instead of shorter shocks, why dont you run softer springs so you get a little droop. That would tuck the wheels up better but not limit articulation like a shorter shock would.

Not to mention, a partial droop setup would be more realistic. Most 1:1's sit at aat least 50% droop if not considerably more.

Did you break the front one? Your drive line angle looks really bad in this picture.

Nope I broke the back one twice. First time in about two minutes. I went home put a new one on and no more than ten minutes CRACK.

Thanks I think the body needs some work. I need to fix the tape line and need the green flames. I had Zorlac paint it flat black as a base. It will be going to the painter soon. I"ll do it Satin Black just for you guy's.

That is a good Idea. I have springs so that would be easy to try.

Well thanks you. I am very happy with were the bronco is going. I just got news that my new Pro-Line shocks are being shipped. This is a project that will take time to get it just right. But will be well worth the wait.

The Zorlac of DMG can make it. Yes these Pro-Line PowerStroke Shocks are great there is no plastic. I do need to get firmer springs. I Pirate is very piggy.

The Pro-Line PowerSroke shocks are installed. They are very nice I also got DNA Trans output shaft to fix my weak link. I got some Integy 15mm Wheel Wideners to fix the width to be more like the JR 1.1 Pirate.
Last but least a Hitec 7950 servo. I like the Power

I almost forgot I sprayed the body with some Outlaw Black to give it the satin finish. Thanks for the advice.

It looked good before, but now it's really coming together. That's one very nice build!

Thanks for the kind words. Don't worry there is allot more to be done to this. I wont hold back. I haven't even had a chance to take it out. The first time I tried I was cracking trans output left and right. The new DNA ones seam to be holding up allot better.
