anyone ever have their axles make a noise when running? i just put my scx10 together and the only time i notice the noise is at full throttle, but it also seems that they kinda "lock up, free, lock up, free" really quick when im going at lower speeds. idono if maybe i goofed when putting em together or what, but maybe someone might know what my dilemna is. thanks ![]() |

best thing for you right now is a teardown of your diffs, rebuild by the book- we all make mistakes from time to time but them diffs are not cheap.

Or you have the gear mesh too tight.

Before you tear them down check the pinion. Take a pair on plyers and pull on the part where you screw the driveshaft too. If they spin more freely don't worry about anything else, if not, tear them down. This saves you time from tearing them down when you dont have too.

I've noticed similar noise from my ax10 axles. I was able to pull on the output shaft where the driveline connects and make sure the driveshaft sat on there carefully and tightened down the set screw.

It may be that the inner pinion bearing is not completly seated. If so the gears wont be able to mesh properly
