Default How much do the long lower links extend the wheelbase?

They look to be about 1/4" longer, but due to them being at an angle, I doubt that this means 1/4" longer wheelbase for each end.

Basically, what I am looking to figure out is

If I were to do the longer links on one end, how much longer would it be?
At both ends? How much longer?

I put them on mine. I'll try to get a pic up this weekend.

Not quite sure what links you are talking about. Are you talking about changing the rod ends on the lower links? If you change the length of the lower links by changing the rod ends, then you will need to do the same for the top. This way, you can keep the pinion angle the same.

As for the length. I have changed the rod ends on the links and if you replace both sides, you get just under 1/4" wheel base extension.

The TR comes with an extra set of plastic lower links that are longer than the ones installed.

Cool . Good to know. The TR just might be my 4th SCX10 . I like all the parts that come with it.

The stock WB is about 11.5"

With both sets of the long plastic links used front and rear with 90mm upper links, my WB is 12"

Are you talking about the stock ax-10 link length of 98mm compared to scx-10 that are 91mm?

I'm building my SCX-10 from scratch and I ordered 91mm links, if they are to short I'm going to switch to Jato ends.

I like to drill and tap them out to 8-32 and run the bigger ball ends.
