Default F350 scx10 tr?

Has anyone got a DIY or an scx10 rocking the tamiya f-350 body? just cab or full? I am about to order an scx10 tr and a 350 body if its not too hard to get slapped on. Thanks

It shouldn't be too difficult but you will need to lengthen the wheelbase to 12.25 to 12.5" and obtain all the parts you need to make a complete truck body.

I streched my wheelbase 3/4" by screwing on 10mm tubes to the upper and lower links.

Scx10tr does not have screw on links. They are molded plastic.
You will have to increase your wheelbase from 11.4 inches to that
of the ford body. I used all thread and tubing. Came out fine.
Just takes time and patience.

Because the TR has molded plastic links, I forgot that it did.

cab only will need some sort of flat bed or sumthin unless you want to leave the rear barebones. look around at the build threads to get an idea of what you need to do.

I am building an SCX10 with the Tamiya F-350 body right now. I might be to the point where I can mount the body to the complete rolling chassis tonight. I will let you know if the body lines up with the scx10 wheelbase or not. But from the looks of it, it will line up just fine. I will report back as soon as I know for sure.

my tr is in finally but no f350 top yet, and it seems the motor stops a little past midway towards the end of the chasis, is it the same size chasis as the origonal scx10??

I completed building my rolling chassis tonight and I lined the F350 body up with it....perfect fit. The wheel arches on the body are right above the tires, so no worries.
