Default F350 Scale rig

Had to start a real build thread for this bad boy, my old one was all jumbled with iphone pics and uneventful photos, now for some good stuff.

My goal was to build a sweet buggy type crawler with the least amount of metal fab i could, and I ended up with this...no metal

Started as a pretty new TR...

Then came the tamiya top and some fabrication.
started by adding a custom tool box, but decided i wanted to go with no bed

Now for some paint, also cut a bit of frame off the back and did some custom lighting with the rear bumper support bar(did the same with the front, ill show those later)

Looks sweet, I'd take the chrome off the grille though.

it is the color of the superduty badging on the 05 models, leftover from my dads old 05 powerstroke, so its got some relevance to it lol

i will paint the grill tonight i agree

Looks good My SCX10 has only been together for a few weeks now and I have already been talking of a F350 cab for mine. Look forward to seeing it with the new wheels and tires.

no sir, the bed is just bolted to the cab and the only thing keeping it all on are the two posts, but i would like to make the back of the cab more sturdy i just cant figure out a way to get it bolted down with the fly wheel right under it

Looks good. You could cut off those servo mounting posts on the rear axle and then sand them down. You could also mount the steering servo to the frame and cut the front mounting posts off as well.

You dont have to spend any cash to do it either. Just search for user SwampDawg in the scx10 forum, you'll find his how to post.

This is pretty cool. I would of never cutting the bed up like that. The color is perfect the way it is. A little bling is not bad. Can not wait to see more
