| Thanks. I'm still running the Super Rooster, 45t lathe and 4pk. I haven't had any issues yet with the electronics getting wet. The inner fender wells are doing a good job of keeping water out of the electronics so far. I haven't had a chance to post up the tire chain tips yet. Hopefully, I can get it posted soon though. |

Do you have any pictures of your trip to Colorado last month? I'd like to see that sweet recovery from the pond. |

No worries! This thread is a massive help to a scale noob like me as it is. Just thought your chains looked awesome, so I'll enjoy whatever other tips you can give! | |

| I have those pictures on my computer at work. Almost forgot about them. I'll try and get them posted next week. I still have to edit the video footage from that trip too. |

Nice water pics on page 4. Completely missed them somehow. How do you make those scale bow waves? |

Finally got a chance to snap a few pics with the new Hand Brothers CMS kit. I took the bump stops out of our shocks to get a little more travel. So, I added our offset rod ends to the panhard bar to try and avoid the links from hitting the frame and axle. |

Newb here....why the 3 link-panhard setup and not a 4 link? Does the CMS get in the way of the 4 link setup? Thanks.

| The biggest reason is for the realistic look that the CMS kit gives you. You can do a 4 link with a chassis mounted servo if you want. I did that to my original SCX10 build without any real issues. |

Been wrenching on the Honcho for the past week, getting it ready for the Scale Nats this weekend. I gave it a quick once over checking for anything that needs replacing. Also added some scale details to give it a little more realistic look. Changes: Switched to MSD 1.9 aluminum wheels Lowered the body Raised the rock rails Pushed the front bumper back Added a 645mg winch Painted up the Pull Pal Rebuilt the shocks Rebuilt the transmission using our new HD steel outputs for the driveshafts Added an exhaust Added scale goodies from Pro-Line Added our side view mirrors and blinged out fire extinguisher Installed fresh winch line Installed an Axial 27t motor for a little more zip A few pictures with the new mods. |

Nice Truck. i have been looking at the honcho a lot and realy like it. I was wondering if i could put a traxxas 12t brushed motor on there with an xl-5? Thanx for the insight.

Nice work with the Honcho this week end. I do feel that the scx-10 is a perfect built rig. stretching that wheel base always helps. |
