Stock gearing

2s 1000mah Lipo

Mamba max ESC

I might upgrade to 3s lipo in the future to increase wheel speed.

I use this motor from hobbyking.com

Loads of torque and speed, works like an outrunner.

And i use a Turnigy esc.

Works very well, easy to setup.

I use 2s lipo 1800mah. And just ordered 4 on 2200mah from hobbyking. With 1800mah i get 40mins of fun..

My gearing is 23t pinion and 76t spur from traxxas, and i also use a slipper from my Slash.

My servo is a Hitech 5645mg.

Lipo batteries will by far be your better option. The power to weight/size ratio is just unbeatable.

Novak Rooster Crawler ESC
55T Axial Motor
Maxamps 2000 mah 2S Lipo or Losi 1650 mah 2S Lipo
87T/20T Gearing
Stock Axial Axle gears will be swapped out for the High Speed gears
1.9 Trail Doc XLs will be swapped for 1.55 Stompers

I have pretty good wheel speed with low torque now but with the new gearing in the axles I'll get some more wheel speed.
