I have a RTR honcho for the wife that is all stock and works just fine. But in my scx10 wrangler rubicon kit I installed the 13/43 hardened ring and pinion front ant rear with a 16/87 pinion spur combo and am running the duratrax de10 esc with the duratrax DTX 10.5t brushless motor. With the program unit bought seperate. This setup is only good for 2s but in my scale truck I run 3s anytime without problems but it's too fast. On 2s however this is so perfect so smooth with so much torque and still speed plenty if needed. This setup is so awesome for a scaler I'll never buy anything else. There are so many options in the programmer and so easy to do. With a 10.5t brushless motor you would think it would be a twitchy setup but not at all it's just so so smooth and fast if needed I don't understand why others have not tried it. I guess it being a sensored setup is why my torque is so good.

I have the new Falken rig with the stock AE-5 speedo and a 30 turn motor! works awesome!!! AE-5 Speedo has great Drag break and smooth control  |

AE-5, stock motor and gearing with a 2200mah 3s turnigy pack. Gets more than enough run-time (40min?) ,low weight and speed is decent.

Savox 1258TG, HH Torque Master Expert 35T, HH BRXL Waterproof, CC BEC, 3S 2200 hobyking lipos and Spekky DX3S. Gearing 87T Spur 16T pinion 5.43 FDR. Motor temps are great and beastly torque to the rocks!

I have the stock AE2 and 27T motor which came in my C/R Unlimited. The Jeep is new, should I run this motor for awhile or should I change it for better performance right off the bat?
