Nice! Thanks for posting pics of it box stock, you don't often see that. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. First thing I would like to do with mine is make some wheel arch wells, to hide those electronics.

Will you be moving the battery upfront? What battery are you using?

ageekwithabaja 02-26-2010 10:54 AM

i already moved the battery in the last pic its up front

i am running just a 4500 6 cell

ageekwithabaja 02-26-2010 10:34 PM

They are holding up good so far i want to get the metal steering links though a lot of flew there

 Well if you live in England you get used to the rain. First things on my list are waterproof electrics. Basically all the stuff I took out of the Slash. Servo and ESC. Receivers are easy to balloon, and a brushed motor you don't need to worry about.

Get it waterproofed and go an have some fun! "thumbsup"

ageekwithabaja 02-28-2010 06:40 PM

nah thats what the summit is for

ok enough pics of the little stuff here is some stuff that i did to change the look

i took off the wind shield and move the spare didn't like the cage cluttered like it was with the tire

the slash waterproof servo sucks for a crawler me and my buddy both put one in our crawlers and first time out blew them up one fall and it strips the gears

They also have no drag brake on them...which is handy for a crawler.

but I guess you could program for that in your Transmitter/Radio...(Depending on what you're running though of course)

ageekwithabaja 03-01-2010 09:50 PM

never herd of a drag break on a servo ?

i have my sidewinder powering this one but very soon i will be getting a xl-5 in it maybe maybe not i might keep the sidewinder i like the tune-ability of it i have it set at 10% drag brake

Lol. I read the post wrong...he was talking about Traxxas ESC and servos in another post...and the post I quoted I thought he was talking about ESC.

a servo for a MSC might have a drag brake though...LOL
