Default 1.9 KOH Jeep

A little while ago I fell in love with this rig. While I'm normally not into Jeeps at all there was something about this one that I just plain love! I keep on selling the rigs I build for my boy to drive and I'm going to try to keep this around for him.

First off I set the wheelbase to 12" on the nose. Scaled out with the 1.9 Rok Lox it's about perfect. I also wanted to try dropping the tranny a bit. I got some pieces of SCX-10 chassis and brazed them on. The lower links are now very close to parallel to the ground and it should give more room for the interior, whatever I figure out on that. I know it's ugly now but that will clean up.

Well, onto the pictures. It's getting close. I still need to get the front bumper done and the nuts for the panels. I'm going to have to pic up a new hood since this the shock hoop cutouts could be cleaner.

Since I got rid of the plastic shock hoops in the back I had to do something in the front

Thanks! It's too bad you had to let go of your Jeep. It really turned out good.

I need to get rid of the plastic shock towers too, because they flex and touch my battery.

I've never had issues with the plastic ones but I figured since there won't be any plastic on the chassis besides the skid I should probably do the hoops too.

Very nice! That's a cool mod for lowering the tranny. Can't wait to see more!

I finally got some time to work on this. No, the bumper isn't like anything in the picture but I didn't like the stock one. I'm trying to get this done to take to St. George this weekend. Hopefully it will at least be running
