I used industrial strength Velcro (brand name) an I was able to pick the truck up by holding the roof...damn stuff is strong...even pulling the body off is a chore. Lol

I think it looks better then the stock Honcho body IMO

This is to jsut show how strong this Velcro is...and that's at about 70% strength

were can i get that body??

I'm not totally sure....I bought it off of a member on here...

but they are very hard to come by....I have seen a couple in the buy and sell section though...but people want like $60 for them without interiors...(mine came with an interior for $50 shipped...and that's even across the border)

search google though you might find something...key words being "intimidator" "SS" "Dale Earnhardt" "Silverado"

they come of a 1:12 scale Special Edition Dale Earnhardt Sr. Silverado made by Fastlane I believe...(same quality as a New Bright).

I've searched eBay for them and they are very hard to find....only a limited number of them were made....

BUT...there IS a similar one out there....it's of a Jesse James Silverado SS...but it's 1:6 scale I beleive...and has no interior to it....

Marcus and John Connor were sent on a covert mission to take down a a Skynet power grid....but they ran into some rather heavy resistance...good thing my truck was armored....and armed

Istood back and took the shots...i'm no machine ya know...

(Marcus is driving John Connor is gunner, T-700 Terminator on the hood, T-1 Terminator in the middle back, T-600 to the left in the back and T-R.I.P. Terminator in far right.)

I know this would've tuned out better in a different setup...but it was a spur of the moment thing..

thanks..it's custom...made of steel..I made a mock up of it form cardboard then my dad made it at work....and i'tsuntreated so it'll rust as it's used but I may angle the middle front of it to give a better approach angle...it's too "square" i'm jsut gonna make two small cuts and bend it back...

it's also quite heavy...which I don't mind...and it also protects my body.

Back at it......took it out for a crawl today....my 3s 2200mah Lipo lasted me for well over an hour!!

Debeaded both rear tires while crawling, Lol.

I'll have some pics up later....

though I'd like to weigh my rig down, so it gets more traction, any ideas? (weight placement, etc)

I thought having aluminum beadlocks would be enough but it's not.....maybe some thinner shock fluid would be good too...running the stock, which is I think 30wt

and my truck seems to "chug" while going reverse, forward it's fine....

I also swapped my Spektrum DX6 for a Fly Sky Pistol grip GT3B....Didn't like the joystick radio as much as I thought I would....
