Yep I'm already signed up for trail class, and setting aside cash for the trip. Looks. like I'm flying into missoula and renting a car as I'm going by myself.

i got some more work done on the scout today, added some tube to the front bumper, mounted up some rock lights and cut the tires. i was gonna mount up the wheels weight and glue the tires when i realized i had no CA glue, so maybe tomorrow. hopefully ill get tho body painted tomorrow too.

the front bumper has some extra attachment points now, should be considerably stronger. i plan on adding a skid plate to the lower section of the bumper. also brazed on some pieces for shackles to mount up.

The rig looks good so far! I like the wheels and custom rings, it's a nice combo. Nice work keep it up! I think blue. Not much of a red person.

Looks great. I really like these bodies I wish Pro-Line still made them.
The tube work is coming along nicely too.

looking good thus far, those stockers and rings look hot and the tube work is coming along nice. colour wise, i would go a sky/baby blue (ps-49 or ps-3) with a white roof. oh and you need to grab yourself some scale hubs just to finish the wheels off.

not to mess up the work, But I'm a fan of red. I did a custom shade a bit to the darker side on my scout.

When I was a kid my dad had a badass Red Scout II, but you never really see blue ones...I vote for blue.

Blue ! Pactra Blue Streak RC252.

I had a 64 Scout that I painted Blue when I was 14....very found memories. I realy like the wheels you have on the cornbinder, this is a great looking build. What holds the beadlock rings on to the wheels?

Black silicone rtv. The tires are glued to the plastic wheels and the rings are glued onto the wheels.
