Default "Mr. Tough Guy" Jeep Gladiator

"Mr. Tough Guy"

Been working on a TTC Truck to run with my local club. SMRCRC... I wanted a Truck thats a little different and that would be fun to drive... Starting looking through some old Jp magazines. Came across the Hotdog.

The wheels started turning and this is what I have so far.

Wanting to build some sort of Cage for it. Played around with the Pro-Line Rollcage a little.

lol JP I have been looking at that body too. I was thinking of doing something very similar but the grill is not quite what I want. I want to do something closer to the military version of the grille with round headlights!!

Looking good J!!

Ya I have been searching the Net for a Good Picture of a Grill. If I can find a good one I can make the Grill look anyway I want. I'll just adjust the Colors in Photoshop and have a Decal Printed out.

I got one of these bodies a while back. It's tiny, looks like a 1/12 scale or smaller. I've decided to put mine on a grashopper chassis with brat wheels instead of making a crawler-scale rig from it

Small Update... Painted the Outside OD Green. Sprayed the Windows black from the inside and the rest Rust colored on the inside...

Body is just sitting on there for a Mock up. It will be lowered just a little more. Going to have to limit the shocks travel....

The front of this thing reminds me of the M-715 I used to have. It would look killer with the milatary bed on it. Great looking build !

definately a TOUGH truck. the wheels look like 1.9, are they for mock up? why not run the shocks in a 50/50 droop/sprung so you get the ride height low but still get the flex. awesome job thought, i need a new body for my honcho they're getting too common.

The 2.2 Mudslingers are just put over the stock 1.9's right now. I have some Black Steel Rc4wd Beadlocks that I'm using.
