Default Project: Budget Honcho

Hey guys!

I'm starting a new project and as you may have guessed from the title I'm working on a tight budget.

I will order the base for this project after I get my paycheck this week.
http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=2395

I need some ideas for "budget" electronics.

I think for the motor I'm going to go with a 35t Integy.
http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=2100

For the ESC I need something that can handle a 3s Lipo because the batteries I have are 1300mAH 3s 25c.

I have an extra Losi 2.4 Tx so I could possibly just pick up a Losi 2.4 Rx and call it good.

Any advice is helpful and If you have something I could use just PM me.

Thanks!

Yep, its a little more, but that takes care of the winch as well...

If you order a few more items at the same time and get your order over 300, you get free shipping...

Can't beat that...

Also, give brian at brianshobbyland.com a shot, he's always got great deals.

I think I've decided on an ESC

Sidewinder baby!
http://www.castlecreations.com/products/sidewinder.html

It's $75 from the place I'm ordering my kit so unless I can get it cheaper on ebay (currently bidding on 2) then I'll order it from there.

I'm running a Sidewinder on both crawlers and the Honcho, and I really like it. I'd consider getting the Castle BEC for it, though.
