Default First F-350 scaler attempt

I figured since i have had this truck for about 6 months and it's been sitting most of them it was time to get to work on it. This is my first time building a scaler, my first time ever brazing, and my first time trying to bend tubing and get it to be symmetrical on both sides. i am open to any and all suggestions or comments good or bad.

thanks i forgot to mention it is also my first time messing with styrene. i am also wanting to build a trailer either big enough for my sprint car or crawler to ride on or just a little utility trailer out of the other truck bed i have.

well I didn't plan it that way. i was originally planning on making just a stock looking truck for a tow rig. but the more i looked around the more i liked the look of the truggy style trucks. i kinda wish i didn't make it the extended cab so it had more bed but i am really starting to like it. i will have some updates tomorrow. got more tube work done in the bed. gonna probably make some rock sliders tomorrow, and figure out how i am going to mount the rear of the body.

I like seeing more supercabs!

If you want to make it look more "scale" fix the supercab windows by moving them back a little bit like pantablo did on mine.

Looking good though, keep it up!

I was actually thinking of turning mine into a "truggy" soon.

well I was actually gonna make it look kinda like yours. I talked to pantablo right after I got this truck and he gave me some tips on it. I still got a lot of work to do to the body and will more than likely open the back window up not decided yet, but the sides windows will be getting some work done to them. I hate the way they look right now.

Default well another direction

It has been a while since i have been on here and i have changed my truck over to be a pulling truck.

The Specs are:
Weight: 10lbs
WB:11 3/4
Motor:Holmes hobbies 7t puller
ESC: Castle Sidewinder
Battery: 3000 35c 3c

Let me know what you think. It not what you see on here every day but it is still like a scale truck just a different kind of truck.

Thanks we will be pulling again on the 23rd of this month and I am gonna try and get video of everyone pulling so at the end of it all I can compile them into a DVD for everyone that pulled and one for in the shop. But we will have to see how that all works out.

Then I will post more pictures and videos after the pull.
