well another update but more of a transformation i changed the body to a old proline recon body that was painted a solid color with regular spray paint so if any one knows how to bring regular spray paint off id sure be thankful for the help (the regular paint has chiped and cracked a bunch)

Regular paint should come off easily with warm water and a rough cloth.

I just bought the Cherokee body also. I had a 1:1 running 35's that I sold a while back. I will be watching this thread. I bought some 2.2's (Rok Lox) and will be building most of mine from misc parts I have been collecting. I will probably run TLT's and a Summit trans. Still have to decide motor, esc, etc.

Thanks,
OldMoparsRule

just a little heads up on the tires i got flat irons on mine and they work and look good but i cant go any taller because i cant lift the body no more so if you are goin to keep the fender flares and use the 2.2 rox lox tires you might want to consider longer body post

Thank you for the feedback, I will definitely consider the longer body posts. I do not mind trimming the body, my goal is to try to keep it as scale as I can while fitting those large tires.

Thanks,
OldMoparsRule!
