I picked up a honcho about 3 months ago, and just finally found time to build it. I must say this has been the easiest kit I've ever built! Props to axial, they have their sh!t together!!! I'll spare you the build pics due to the fact there is nothing there you already haven't seen! My build specs are as follows: honcho kit tekin fxr spektrum 3100 tx hitec 7954 servo epic 45t 3racing winch axial od front gears axial 4 link mounts rc4wd rock lox some scale accesories team 3 six interior and enough lights to light up the trail! I got it together as a roller last night and got it all painted up. I'm trying to have it done for awcc but we'll see. I wanted a color that I haven't seen on any build before, which pretty much left me with no option really. And then I saw a tacoma driving down the road a couple weeks ago, and I immediately knew what color I wanted. In the end I came very close to what I had imagined it to look like. And I am verry happy with how it came out. Here she is as a roller. I'll get better pics and some updates as I go. |

The 45 on a 60c 3 cell will be enough to get me going for now! but when the funds are available I'll probably step it up to a 35t. And they are 1.9 rock lox. Thanks for the compliments dudes! |

It's Tamiya translucent red backed with pactra atomic rust(which is also a translucent) backed with pactra Indy silver. I came up with multiple color options that were very close to this one. But in the end I liked this the best. It really pops I'm the sunlight. I'll post up a good pic of it later. You'll love the honch. They are so easy to build!!! I also am doingy own chassis mounted steering as well. |

Thanks! I like the color so much that I'm going to paint up a new comp body for awcc in the same color. You talking about the video of a white toyota attempting to get over a huge ledge with a busted rear locker? I forgot that video was on there! (stupid lock rite) |
