| Tr ESC problem
Hey guys, just got my tr, I swapped the recievor with my mrc 2.4 right away and went out driving, about 10 mins in the truck wouldn't go in reverse, I thought it was hung up so I moved it, but still wouldn't go in reverse and then it smoked a bit, so I shut it off and went home. I wasn't driving rough really, just a few donuts then some water and just driving down a trail. When I got home the esc gets pretty warm fast, but hasn't smoked again. Can I swap the mrc esc in for now till I can buy a new one or just use the stock esc until it blows? And what esc would be good for the stock truck( when I buy a new one?) and if it matters the battery is a 7.2 volt 3000mah duratrax Nimh. Thx for helping |

| agreed the axial one isnt the best, but ive had no trouble out of mine other than a super weak BEC. but screw the rooster, it cant handle more than 2s lipo id get a sidewider or Holmes BR-XL that you can get waterproofed and can handle and brushed motor with 6s lipo if your feelin good (im soon to buy one)
