| Used SCX10s?
I can't access the classifieds yet, but I've been looking on eBay, and I can't seem to find many used SCX10s. Is there any reason for this? Do people just love them so much they won't part with them? If you have seen used ones, what kind of deals have you found?

I see them occasionally for sale, usually in the $200-$250 range depending on if it's a roller or RTR and which upgrades have been added. I think most people like them too much to sell them .

I found one for around $200 on another forum. They pop up every once in a while, but for the price of a used scx10, the new RTR Honcho is still not bad.

If used are still upwards of $200, I might as well just get new. I'm thinking I want a kit anyway cause I love putting cars together and I'll end up switching the electronics of the RTR at some point anyway.

Agreed. I bought the kit as I don't really see the point of RTR. For me, anyway, I enjoy building as much as driving. I'm actually a little disappointed at how few kits are available now. | |

| I liked my honcho when I got it. Now not so much. It wont go nowhere, its okay to drive and nobody around here does scalers. Its fun and all but I just think my 2.2 is funner.

| Seriously! I remember back in the day building my RC10T, and I think even my Stampede was a kit and even some of the Tamiya cars. Come to think of it, the first RTR I think I bought was the T-Maxx.

everyone likes them so much they dont go down in price much. so in my opionion its not worth buying used since the probably fudged up the kit by driving it in mudd or in water. i just think i rather pay 50-100 more for a new one its just not worth it. i love mine too much to every sell

I like all of the $500+ SCX10's that keep popping up on craigslist. Who would spend that kind of money on a used RC car?
