Default How much does your scx10 weigh?

Can people please post how much does your scx10 weigh and the needed precaution to not stress out the axles and driveline too much. I think mine is on the heavy side and ive had good luck with the beef tubes on my other rig so im pretty sure this one will be running it. Im close to 20 pounds, it is because my truck is a tuber chassis with body panels. Let me know how much yours weigh and what you did to "beef up" those axles to handle all the weight.

About 5.1 lbs....no beef up yet....but I haven't run my 3s yet only 2s. I'm trying to keep my truck lightweight and low COG, so far plastic sliders, bumpers etc. A friend helped me start my silver soldered brakeline sliders, but I haven't finished them yet and still have stock plastic bumper trimmed down. 20 lbs is very heavy, maybe you could lose some weight off yours? Pics?

Edit: Was reading other replies and remembered that this is with my 1300mah 2s Lipo still strapped in from crawling the night before!

mine comes in at 6#, i tried to remove as much as the plastic parts that i could that take the most stress, mostly on the steering and tranny. seems like you got quite a heavy truck there, with that kind of weight everything is gonna take a beating.

20lbs? No way... Both my rigs together still way almost half that. My Hilux is 6lbs 15oz and my Bronco is 5 lbs 14oz. Wow, I wanna see a pick of this scx made of lead!

I want to say somebody else claimed to have a 20 pound truck, but then they actually weighed it and it was significantly less

What do you run for shocks on a 20lb rig?? I think mine is heavy but if I had to guess I'd say it's about 7lb's or less and my stock SCX shocks suffer...especially the fronts.

Not to mention axle/knuck/lockout bearings. They're shedding tears as we discuss it

7 lb 10 oz. for my SCX10. It's a pretty extensively beefed up drivetrain throughout.

Even my heavy as h3ll Bronco only weighed in at ~11 lbs. I'd also like to see this 20 lb. monster!

My SCX10 comp rig comes in at 7lb 6oz, it is running punisher driveshafts etc. And moonrock in the wheels and tyres.

My SCX10 is heavier than my Berg..
