Default stripped screw in my RTR outdrive.

I am upgrading some stuff on my RTR. I am putting some MIP drive shafts on and one of the set screws on the outdrive is stripped. Anyone have any good tips or techniques for getting that stupid little 1.5mm screw out?

well sad to say the easiest way is to just drill it out. but you can try to heat it up if you Blue'd it in, that should soften up the loc tite

But what i did on a few of the RC4WD punishers was use a smaller drill bit and drill out the set screw in the middle. it was enough to get a tiny flat head in there and rip the rest out while turning.
