| same old scx-10 NEW LOOK!!! tamiya bronco
Well, Disney OK was rough on the old yota so I thought this would be a good time for a update. I've always liked the 70's bronco's but wasn't a big fan of the hpi body. So, when tamiya released their 73 bronco I knew I had to build one. Not completly finished yet, I am going to run the zero offset hubs, the ones pictured are +5mm. Also have the grille to finish, mount the front of the body, bumpers are in the mail and some other little odds and ends to finish up. What do you think so far? | You're not telling me anything! I am not a ford person either...... It is a scx kit. They are a great scale rig, this is my second one I've had. Haven't driven this one yet with the shortened wheel base. I am sure it will have a negative effect on the performance, but with the stock links, these things are a freaking BLAST! |

| I hear yeah, I've been running the jun fac's with good luck but now that I've shortened the rear links so much I am not sure how everything is going to work. They are binding some, but the ol' grinder should be able to fix that |

I dig it! I like the older fords. EBs and highboys and such. Ford and Chevy people make me laugh. Dodge ftw. |

| I'm actually a fan of old fords, and old dodges. No new fords, no new dodges, or ANY chevys. |

Looks good. The color is really sweet. Good luck with the shorter wheelbase tho. I built an FJ and it worked just ok. It was a hardbody so maybe the lexan shell will be better, at least not as top heavy...

thanks for all the reply's guys. Well, while I am still waiting for my bumpers I made a little progress with the bronco. I have finished off the grille, added a few needed stickers here and there, and I have changed out the hubs to the 0 offset. |
