Driveshaft question.. I lost one of my metal yokes out on the trails for my honcho. At 20 bucks a pop im wondering if they make anything better ( Driveshaft wise IN GENERAL)? Like whole driveshafts with yoke and shaft both? is there anything cheaper to use than the metal yoke from axial? I tried a traxxas plastic one but they wouldnt tighten down enough on the output shaft and theyd come off after being strained.. |
Been covered a million times....... Traxxas - cheap n cheerful JunFac - Steal, an ok alternative to MIP MIP - Steal, indestructible, cost a little more RC4WD Punishers - Steal, indestructible, cost a LOT more |
how do i use traxxas shafts or yolks i guess. because they are plastic and strip out too |

same for the yolks they're the exact same as the axial ones.. just different color...Axial are black anodized and TRX ones are gunmetalish anodized... and are you using blue loc-tite on the grub screws on your yokes? |

also. never use loc-tite on plastic only metal and only blue loc-tite then Axial ones: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Axial-AX-10-Scorp...#ht_3328wt_698 Traxxas ones: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Traxxas-Stampede-...#ht_1649wt_802 only difference is color. |

So for the RC4WD Punishers, the 90mm-120mm shafts will fit the Dingo and Honcho? |
