Been enjoying the little bit of snow we got a couple weeks ago, and the .5" we got today. I will say though, these flat irons can't grip for sh*t. Any suggestions on what you guys have found that works best for this weather? Also looking to go mudding in the summer. No 2.2's please.

For 1.9 Boggers with the small lugs cut out are the best I've found.

I got to play around with the ProLine TSL boggers in some looser snow and they were absolutely horrible. They might be decent on some harder packed stuff though, not sure. They would just sink right away and wouldn't even try to dig into anything. This was on my 5lb Honcho, very little extra weight on it over the stock kit.

I just borrowed them from a guy who's not using them right now due to a lack of truck. In the snow I honestly think the Flatirons were better.

its pretty impossible to beat slingers for a snow tire. especially if you cut out the small lugs they get even better. but the 1.9s are kinda small by todays standards. |
