Question Jeep Cherokee?

Hey guys this might sound stupid but I have a RTR Honcho and want to get the Pro-line cherokee body, but the wheel bases are quite a ways off. If I just put the four shorter links that are on the parts tree in the back, do you think it will fit fine? What did all of you guys do to make it fit?

Thanks, Jake

All the links that come in the kit are for specific locations on the build.... if you switch links you'll wind up with a place on the rig that has no part. You'll have to put either new shorter links or cut the ones you have down and re-tap to get the same wheelbase as the Cherokee body has. Maybe somedody that has done it already can tell you exactly what they had to do. Good luck and post pics once you get it figured out.

Well I have 4 long links in the back right now (I four linked it) and there are still four small links in my parts bag, so I wont have any missing parts.

Why do i need to still use te three link? Wont that keep my wheel base at the same length though?

Use a shorter (98mm) set of bottom links from your parts bag for the lowers. For the uppers, you can either buy shorter metal linkage, or return to the three link, without using the spacer at the rear. (bottom of the "Y" I guess you'd call it.)

I did this the other day and got a perfect 12.8" wheelbase.
