here's a body of a jeep rubicon for an 1/8th scale HPI nitro savage that i have decided to chop up and put it on the Honcho. this body will be cut/trimmed to run 2.2 tires. it will get bars on the fenderwells and stuff too.. since it has the fake winch molded on the front i was thinking of cutting the whole grille out and making a grille out of either plain aluminum or polished diamond plate, i have both materials laying around the house.
paint is a transparent green from a tamyia spray can and will probably get backed with black with masked off windows so they stay green.

maybe i'll grab a picture of it and post it up.

grabbed some pictures like i said i would haha.lol masking tape is on there because im going to trim the fender flares too.

also i havent found any 2.2 boggers locally yet and i dont have a credit card anymore so i cant buy anything online.. but my local hobby shop has some 2.2 TSL's apparently so i might just get those instead...

the green is supposed to be like that. on the spray can they called it "transparent green". but ya im going to spray some black on the inside as well to darken it up.

i sprayed the green a couple years ago when i had big plans for the body, just havent gotten around to finish painting it yet.. the shop doesnt have any heat in it yet and i cant spray paint in the house so i gotta do it outside but its been too cold to do so..... so just waiting for it warm up a bit, oh well im not in a hurry to finish it up anyways.

i think the guys are right don't use the black get silver or white cause black would make it to dark and not the look you are going for just my $0.02 worth also by the way was out yesterday with mine and found a another spot to play it's got alot of loose stuff from blasting but I was able to climb quite a bit of the area
