scx10 pajero build Starting the pajero build heres some pics with the body mocked upand wheelbase shortened http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/x...6/IMAG0012.jpg http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/x...6/IMAG0007.jpg |
Looks sweet, driveline angle looks kinda steep. |
Upper links werent connected just got one if my two 4 link brackets today waiting to order my 1.55s stamped steel wheels and tires which will be on friday if i can decide on the tire im pretty sure they will be mud terrains |
Is the servo going to be frame mounted or axle mounted? Looks like the body may limit the possibilty of having it frame mounted (could just be the pic) My next scaler is in the works as we speak....Parts on order!! "thumbsup" |
Chassis mounted im going to need to drill holes and the chassis will be cut back both front and back |
Well bodys cut for the most part i still have to sand the inside of the flares and front of the body, but this is a basic mock up of how its going to sit, i cant decide if i should cut the chassis back or leave it stock length up front and mount my winch? http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/x...6/IMAG0022.jpg |
What is the wheel base on it? Looks kinda short might want to put some "extra" weight in those fronts:mrgreen: |
Well its been nearly 2 months and slowly but surely its about 99 percent, still have to add scale acc. And possibly mounting a winch inside the body with the rollers just sticking out of the grill. Otherwise heres a sample of my new baby <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0096.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0096.jpg border=0 alt=></a> <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0097.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0097.jpg border=0 alt=></a> |
Very cool truck!! Love the realistic look of the Pajero body and will be watching closely!! :) |
Looks awesome Mick "thumbsup" |
Thanks, will be testing out on tuesday to see how it runs, not sure about wheel weight on such a short wheelbase.. |
looks nice. kinda like a jeep body. i might end up getting a jeep body for my ax-10. |
Well took it out on a test run, did well except forthe battery mounted in back, i may switch to a much smaller battery and just mount it up front next to the servo, ill post chassis pics tonight and Where do i find rc4wd look alike wheel lugs i lost 4 and it really angers me, only ones i can find are silver and a bigger hex size ahhh |
Because i know the only reason your on here is for the pics <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0102.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0102.jpg border=0 alt=></a> <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0103.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0103.jpg border=0 alt=></a> <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0105.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0105.jpg border=0 alt=></a> <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0106.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0106.jpg border=0 alt=></a> <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0099.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0099.jpg border=0 alt=></a> <a href=http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/?action=view¤t=IMAG0100.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx101/twilight36/IMAG0100.jpg border=0 alt=></a> |
Something needs to be done with this front end, any ideas? |
I love that wheel and tire combo. |
what hub caps are those? are those the stock scx10 ones painted black (and red) ? |
Looks real good."thumbsup" I have one like it but mine is a TCC Build. I always like those frames. |
The caps come with black axial wheels. Throwing around the idea to learn how to braze and do up a front bumper and roof rack. Been watching videos online. Or i do like the couple of scale tube bumpers that rc4wd makes. |
Now that its done lol FOR SALE! |
