Default Dovertailed Pajero

Decided to run something different and try some styrene work so I picked up this Pajero body and am setting aside the Hilux flatbed.
I was just going to sort of open up the fenderwells and fudge things a bit since the WB is so short on this body, but once I started cutting I couldn't stop.
Took about .25" off the bottom and 1.25" outta the middle in the back.
The "humped" roofline made it trickey so I just went ahead and cut the whole roof out.
Tonights progress.

Thanks guys!
I'm going to drop a floor in it and build somewhat of a cage out of styrene back there too.
As for the color, it was allready teal when I bought it, but I saw a nice light green, almost olive metallic on a Nissan Frontier this morning that I really liked.

Looks nice Kevin, I thought the color was gonna make me hurl though. Glad you are painting it. Are you running this body this weekend?

Thanks, but I'm going to tell Michael you said that, he painted it originally LOL.
I should have it useable but probably not done this weekend.

Tamiya molds to big ugly mounting post right into the grill so that's why I cut it out. I have something in mind to put back in for a grill though.

Spent tonight figuring out what to do with my battery. For now I'm using big ass 5000mah 2S LiPos, and they are too long to put over the rear axle with this stubby body. Took some .500" x .125 aluminum, made a couple brackets and did some creative bending. This will have to do until I get some more compact batteries in 3S.

Worked on the rear floor. Used beer case cardboard to make a template and tweaekd until I could transfer the pattern to .080" styrene. Lots of trimming sanding and trial fitting. I will make 4 small 90 degree aluminum brackets and bolt this floor in, rather than rely on glue since it will hold the rear body mounts.
Don't mind the white strips under the body, they are holding it at ride height while I fit stuff.
Thanks for all the feedback so far
