Trail Honcho "C-Hub" hub carrier issue Hey guys tried to search the forums a bit before posting, and I must be "the suck" at the internet. Here's my issue. I have taken my honcho out a total of 3 time and 2 of the 3 have stock c-hub. The first time I put it under some stress, now the second time I broke a c-hub I was just tooling around the house. Both times it was the front right. I'm runing a 35t motor with a 60% throttle curve and don't really nail it much. So im curious, is this a design flaw or potentially something I may have done wrong in my set up? I have the aluminum upgrades on the way so no big deal there. I guess I just want to know if there is something I should be looking for that I may be doing wrong that is causing the issue or do the stock ones just suck that bad? |
i done the exact same thing:lmao: and i just bout aluminium ones and they look better, give strength, and take some slop and flex out of the axle housing |
aluminium c-hubs and steer knuckles are the best upgrades for the scx10 if you ask me. |
Re: Trail Honcho "C-Hub" hub carrier issue Is it just me, or do those Axial clockable knuckles not clock in the right direction? Seems like they clock forward, not backward, as I need them to to add more neg caster if I jack up the front end... They basically go on in the exact same position as the stock plastic ones, with the only 'clockable' option to put more positive camber and point the top toward the front of the truck. Am I doing something wrong?? |
Re: Trail Honcho "C-Hub" hub carrier issue You're putting them on backwards probably. |
