| SCX10 Hilux Build
This started life as a Honcho and I had a lot of fun with it. Here it is before and during iHobby. And a little video of it at IHobby: This was running a Havoc 19.5 on 2S, CMS, 4 Link rear, ProLine TSLs on Weighted Titus rims. All the electronics and battery were moved low and over the front axle. |

So now on to the build, as you can see a few changes have been made. Current Setup: -Dinky Axle Truss and four link front and rear Home made SS and Delrin links -Overdrive Gears in the front axle -Weighted 1.9 Titus Rims -RC4WD TSL Boggers -Fiber electronics and battery mount over the front axle -Hands Bros CMS kit -Goat 3S with 18.5 on 3S LiPo 2200MHr 30C -Brazed Cage and Bumper -3Racing winch Still need an interior and a matching spare (If RC4WD ever lets some go), rock sliders, body filler and painting and the detail work. Hope to try this out tomorrow if the weather cooperates. |

It looks like you need to turn on your defroster . Always fun to play in the snow, and thats a nice truck you have there. |

Finally got back to work on this thing. Had to box up the electronics, Novak and water just don't mix well. Finished up the body and the paint, added some accessories. Still need the interior but so far I think I am headed for the slowest build ever. Painted and checked for fit. All Pimped out. |

Just a dremel with a cutting wheel and go REAL slow. Finish it up in the corners with a small hacksaw blade wrapped in medical tape to make a handle.

Are you building the honcho portion by hand? I have no idea how to do that. If not, where could I get my hands on one?

| Are you asking where to get a Honcho Kit? RPP is usually the best price and best service. If you are asking if you can build one from parts, yes you can, I have 2 that were done that way. Buy your star on here and look for used parts and look at RPPs Salvage yard. Axles, tranny and the frame are the critical components. Beyond that, there are a thousand options.
