Default Scx 3 speeder defender 90

This is my first post on here. I'll try and put some pic up of my scx10 defender 90 build. I've fitted a tamiya 3 speed gearbox to the axial transmission, custom made rock sliders, bumper and rear cross member and roll cage.

Ian.

These are after I painted the body and wheels. Its not a very good paint job I may buy a new body to paint really nice and keep this just for using.

Yeh I bought her from a car boot sale 50p. I thought she'd make a good driver..lol. I'd always wanted a defender crawler but didnt really want to buy the gelande as nice as the truck is. I got really bored at Christmas so thought about building my own def scaler. I had a stock scx10 honcho and I bought the def body secondhand ages ago. I also had a tamiya hi-lift that was missing parts. The scx was nice but fancied a bit more wheel speed but still wanted to be able to crawl. It's really nice with the 3 spd it will tow my sons which are 3 on there ride on pedal tractors. I love it

Cheers Ian
