Smile chicklet's build thread

I'm going to order a Tundra body for it this week. Messed up the honcho body (bad quality paint ). Tamiya paints are the best (bed came out perfect)! I also need to make my own armor. The stock front kills the approach angle lol. I need to waterproof it and weight the wheels. Honcho will do stoppies!

Here is what I have so far:

Axial SCX10 Trail Honcho Kit
Novak Goat 18.5
Hitec HS-7955TG Servo
Spektrum DX3E Radio
Venom Racing 3000mah Battery
3Racing Winch

Very nice...paint can be a major bummer I feel ya there, but you can always sand/strip it off and try again if you need!!! Ive done it a couple times and look forward to doin it many more times when mine needs it! Post up some wheelin shots.

Welcome to the ADDICTION !!

You can also paint your Lexan body on the OUTSIDE.....if you don't want to mess with stripping the paint from the inside !

Semi-gloss.....satin....and flat colors....work great for doing this....with the satin and flat's being the best.

Have fun....and be sure to post up your wheelin pics !

Ordered the Tundra hi-lift body and misc parts today. Also ordered some 1.9 Baja claws and super soft springs.

Have some more LEDs coming and a Cow RC carbon fiber mat

Going to paint the Tundra Tamiya TS-51 Telefon blue.
