A Hong Kong company. I hadn't heard of them, they make just about every scx 10 part from alloy. http://www.topcad.com.hk/topcad/en/2...2=681&cls3=740 Last edited by johnnyh66; 03-14-2011 at 12:23 PM. |

Just because something is made of metal doesn't make it better, I mean look at Integy...

Look at this page then look at integys stuff same designs just differentname, juat more mass produced crap with no quality control.a buddy of mine ordered a set of wheels and the beadlock screws looked lile screws from a pair of eyeglasses, tiny and easily breakable

Yup, you aint missing much. Most of their stuff is exactly the same as integy just even worse quality control. Just spotted this: Got to get me one of these Last edited by WIDELOAD; 03-14-2011 at 05:26 PM. |

not sure about topcad's stuff but not all of the parts that come from hong kong are crap... i bought an STS .28 nitro engine from hong kong for my savage and it hauls some serious ass. right now they are the only place i can order parts from. a friend bought an STS .30 from them and it hauls ass too.. i have no problem buying parts from hong kong.

i've been bagging on my savage with many aluminum parts with no problems.. the way i see it is that yes plastic parts have more "give" and they can bend back but are not exactly stronger than aluminum parts. | |

I think they have the front confused with the rear Some of their stuff looks pretty neat from a shelf queen standpoint, wonder how well it would hold up. And the front bumper thing looks rediculous. I though my Dingo bumper was a handup on my honcho lol |

The one part I was really thinking would be nice are the aluminum shock towers. My stock ones are bent and twisted and way out of alignment... I'm sure they take a lot of impact that the shocks themselves would take if the towers were metal though. So maybe it's not such a good idea.

I didn't see that LED bar, I've been thinking of ordering a couple of the gmade 2 bucket lightbars but wasn't sure if I could mount them side by side. Stang killa, can you give a light bar width when you get them. They also have a Tamiya style plastic light bar. And Windshield wipers! http://www.topcad.com.hk/topcad/en/2-1-1.asp?id=3424 |
