honcho on a small wheel base? and advantage of the long wheel base?
 

does anyone tried the honcho body/cage on the small scx-10 wheel base? i was wondering how it would look, i tried to search it but didn't find anything.

i just got the honcho body and cage but the 313mm links setup are BO everywhere!


is there a real advantage to run the 12.3'' wheel base other than the look?

i put it on my scx10 with the Comanche body and it would not look good. the tires are almost to the cab.

my brother put a honcho body on the dingo tr scx10, he ended up putting the honcho plastic links on the bottom and using the dingo links for the top to make a 4 link, the problem with fitting the honcho body is that the tires will rub on the body. He also bought a bent link kit for the ax10/scorpian because the plastic was starting to wear thin.

the benefit is that the body will not rub unless you cut the front tire a bit.

I'm running my 4dr jeep on 12.4" and the body is 13" wheelbase, what I did to fix the problem was raised my body up 1 notch till I get those spacers installed.

It makes the truck more stable on uphill climbs for the most part.
