the threads themself are stripped? or the allen head stripped, if its the allen head just tap a T5(maybe) star bit in there and un screw it.

a small screw extractor works wonders. Can't remember the size exactly though.

I just had this same thing happen to my truck, only the second time that I took it out. haven't even had the time to mess with it yet, will let ya know what I use when I get it out, looks like it will be interesting though. wondering too where to get the replacement parts for it also?

You can try grinding the allen wrench to get a burred edge which will make a tighter fit. Don't try drilling it out unless you have the proper bits, hardened steels a pita to drill.

O.K. here is what I used, worked like a charm.

Craftsman #1 Spiral Screw Extractor. It says used with 5/64th drill bit, but for this you don't need to drill anything out first.

it might not be a T5 starbit thats why i put the (maybe) next too it lol, what ever size is just big enough to not slip right in, just use something to TAP it in gently to have the star bit "bite" into the side walls and then unscrew it. it could be a T4 or possibly a T6...

In last stand you can try to go with a pair of wire cutter in back, between the shaft ans the diff case. That will broke the small notch up the front of the output shaft but still usable after.

Like i say last stand to try...
