X2, those tires really set it off nicely.

so... I guess I should finish this thing, digging up this thread made me realize just how long its been sitting here.

I managed to find a few Clod grilles and such in the time away

I got stuck on mounting the bumpers, and wasn't really happy with how I did it the first time, and well, I needed a good reason to play with the new mill. (even if it was simple drilling).

got the grille mounted to the bumper, and a cross-member bolted to the front bumper as well..

but I still had the issue of mounting them. So I dug through my scraps and found some extra scraps from scx frames I have hacked off (keep everything) and I got to lengthening the chassis. About a inch and a half out back and close to 3/8ths up front.

now I had a place to mount those bumpers without some goofy mount or extension.

And all together

Yeah, I think it was G-made or something. Got them from RPP back in the day.

This thing looks badass clear.. I can't wait to see the next step. What's the wheelbase on this body?

So dusted it off again... Started rebuilding the rear window area, couldn't leave those weird triangle things there. I devices best to just cut the whole window area out, I think you can see where I'm going with it.

You may also note I flipped the trans back again, going to try and hide the spur under a bench seat

Rear shocks next so I can move to the bed.

Are you thinking about a cantilever set up or something more... Shiny?

Very good looking build, great work!

I haven't quite committed to an idea yet.. You can get quite a big of travel with shorter shocks if you set it up right. I'll have to play around and decide what to do.

I can't help to guess that a new rc4wd blazer body appears soon in this build.

Looks like I should be able to trim up a dinky honcho interior to fit in the k30
